Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Medical Specialist to join our Customer Service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and customer service, with a passion for helping others. As a Healthcare Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and chat 

  • Assist patients with appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, and insurance verification 

  • Provide accurate and timely information about healthcare services, procedures, and policies 

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and other departments to resolve patient issues and concerns 

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions 

  • Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate department or supervisor 

  • Stay up to date on healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices 

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare-related role preferred 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems 

  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor 

  • Desktop/Laptop with at least i3/Ryzen3 processor and 8gb of Ram 

  • Webcam, Noise Cancelling headset, 30mbps internet speed or above 

  • Dedicated place at home for work
