Job Description - Learning Consultant

Location: Work is what you do, not where you go. For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in the Philippines. About The Opportunity The Custom Learning Consultant is responsible for managing all aspects of Dayforce's custom content development projects for end-users. The Custom Learning Consultant is a dynamic role that incorporates project management, customer relationship building, instructional design, and training delivery. The Custom Learning Consultant is responsible for managing and delivering custom end-user training materials to customers to support going live with Dayforce, which can impact anywhere from 500 - 100,000 people. Success is defined by setting expectations, coaching customers through the content development process, achieving earned hourly rates, managing a project plan, and achieving promoter Net Promoter Scores (NPS) on feedback surveys related to both training content and quality of instructor-led delivery. The ideal candidate has superior customer-facing skills, an in-depth understanding of Dayforce use cases, experience managing customer software projects, familiarity with organizational readiness and change management best practices, attention to detail, and experience delivering instructor-led training sessions. You need to be innovative, creative, project management-focused, comfortable working directly with customers, and able to collaborate with stakeholders across Services teams at Dayforce. What You Will Be Doing
  • Leading all aspects of custom training projects for customers preparing to go-live on Dayforce. You will follow and refine an established methodology including hosting kick-off meetings to set expectations, gathering requirements, collecting feedback, triaging incoming requests, and delivering training sessions.
  • Diligently reviewing and implementing customer feedback focusing on accuracy, completeness, terminology, branding, and technical elements.
  • Coaching customers through the planning and execution phases of end-user training to include communication best practices, conducting training sessions, launching self-paced training programs, and conducting follow-up sessions.
  • Delivering instructor-led Train-the-Trainer sessions to the customer's software trainers, organizational readiness team, or people leaders preparing them to deliver end-user training sessions at their organization.
  • Acting as the first escalation point to understand and address customer challenges with scope, content, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Developing expertise in end-user use cases for Dayforce product modules including HR, Workforce Management, Payroll, Talent, Onboarding, and Benefits.
  • Leveraging an intermediate-level skillset in eLearning authoring tools at Dayforce, allowing you to review, enhance, and iterate on customer content that is technically accurate, engaging, and intuitive.
  • Collaborating with internal (Global Learning Services, Services, Customer Success, and Sales) stakeholders across the business to jointly solve customer challenges through innovative learning solutions.
  • Managing content localization projects to build training materials in local languages for our global portfolio of customers.
  • Conducting lessons learned sessions to identify process and methodology improvements designed to improve the customer experience and internal practices.
Success is defined by
  • Managing custom training projects against established timelines in a demanding environment.
  • Accurately capturing customer training requirements in scoping templates to be actioned by the eLearning development team.
  • Coaching customers on best practices for training development and delivery preparing them to launch Dayforce.
  • Delivering Train-the-Trainer sessions to Dayforce customers which effectively prepares them to train their user base.
  • Developing working relationships with internal stakeholders to improve Dayforce processes.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on upsell opportunities.
  • Managing a forecast of billable projects and updating project records.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to the eLearning technology landscape at Dayforce
Skills And Experience We Value
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Expert level customer-facing skills including expectation setting, project management, delivering presentations, and navigating sales activities
  • Ability to learn the eLearning tools Dayforce uses to make edits to training materials including software simulations, training guides, and job aids
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Curiosity of technology with the ability to understand and communicate how software works
  • Ability to break down complex functionality into simple steps
  • Close attention to detail throughout all customer scoping, development, refinement, and delivery activities
  • Creativity and the ability to present eLearning courseware that engages the learner
What Would Make You Really Stand Out
  • Experience managing training projects for enterprise B2B SaaS applications
  • Experience delivering Dayforce training sessions to external and/or internal audiences
  • Familiarity with eLearning development tools that produce single sourced software simulations, videos, and documentation outputs
  • Past customer-facing consulting roles in the software industry focusing on implementations, support, customer success, or project management
  • Background in change management, org readiness, and systems training
