Shopify Web Designer

• The ideal candidate’s workstation should be set up in a safe and secure location at home with stable and reliable internet not less than 25 Mbps.
• Must have an updated portfolio showcasing Shopify projects. 
• 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Manila time, Monday to Friday.
• Salary: PHP 60,000 - 70,000/month (depending on the experience)

About the Role

You will be working directly with an Australian Director and possess strong web design skills with a proven track record in creating eCommerce sites, specifically designing Shopify stores. Your expertise includes strong conceptual design and problem-solving skills, enabling you to translate ideas into innovative designs that provide engaging user experiences for the clients' online customers. Your enthusiasm for eCommerce and the UI/UX design challenges in this dynamic sector drives your creativity and attention to detail.

Additionally, graphic design and branding skills will be a significant advantage in this role.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Take charge of creating visually appealing and user-friendly eCommerce websites, ensuring they meet the latest industry standards and client requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on innovative UI/UX design strategies to enhance user engagement and improve overall user experience on the clients' websites.
• Work in tandem with the Ecommerce Manager and other team members to align design efforts with business goals and project timelines.
• Manage your tasks independently, showing the ability to take initiative and proactively address challenges and opportunities.
• Create compelling marketing materials, including graphics and visual content, for different marketing channels to support the clients' promotional efforts.

Skills

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in web design, showcasing a robust portfolio of diverse projects in a Western Ecommerce environment. 
• Two years of specialized experience working with the Shopify platform, including familiarity with its admin interface, CMS, and third-party apps.
• Strong track record in designing engaging and effective Shopify websites that drive sales and enhance user experience.
• With valuable skills in graphic design and branding, allowing you to create cohesive and visually appealing brand identities.
