Sponsor Advocate Manager is equivalent to a Call Center Manager. This is a new position in the Unbound Philippine Branch - an International NGO. It requires working on a night shift and on-site in a Call Center environment. It manages up to 15 individuals only. The work assignment is in Quezon City.
Qualifications
· College diploma two + year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 1 to 3 years of service or sales-oriented positions depending on the level assigned.
· Past manager or leadership experience is preferred.
· Former member of the Unbound sponsorship program or Unbound scholarship program preferred.
· Knowledgeable with Unbound initiatives, programs, and services.
· Ability to retain mass information and communicate the values of the organization.
· Ability to listen to clients and resolve concerns with empathy while maintain composure and professionalism.
· Ability to apply critical thinking skills.
· Excellent conflict resolution.
· Strong written and verbal communication.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Solution-minded when problem-solving.
· Ability to multi-task (talk on the phone, and type on computer at the same time).
· Ability to work on a team and be a team player while having to work independently.
· Ability to understand and follow through on instructions.
· Computer skills required in a Windows environment.
· Type 40 to 50 wpm and must be comfortable working with and learning relational database programs.
· Comfortable with change management.
· Proficient in English and pass verbal and written English tests with a score between B2-C2 average in CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference)
Supervisory Responsibilities: (1 to # direct reports) Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees developing staff, planning, and assigning work, appraising performance rewarding and dealing with staff relation/corrective action addressing complaints and resolving problems. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Unbound's policies and applicable laws.
(Night Shift is a requirement in the Philippines). Work and holiday schedules are required to align with the US holiday calendar. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
