As a Video Editor , you will be tasked with the creative process of manipulating and editing film video footage to craft a seamless and engaging timeline for the audience. Your role will involve comprehending the brief provided by Marketing, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and specifications to deliver content that aligns with their vision. Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Day Shift (Mon - Fri; 7AM - 4PM)

Work Setup: Onsite, Pampanga

What do you need to succeed?  

• BS degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field (preferred).
  
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
  
• Solid experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (Mandatory).
  
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
  
• Exceptional grammar, research, fact-checking, writing, and editing skills.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
  
• Strong ability to achieve results in a timely manner.
  
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
  
• Familiarity with special effects.
  
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
  
• Creative mind with the ability to translate into ‘stories’.

What awaits you in this role?  

• Manipulate and edit film video footage to create a cohesive timeline for the audience.
  
• Understand the brief provided to grasp Marketing’s needs and specifications.
  
• Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
  
• Trim footage segments and assemble the sequence of the film.
  
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
  
• Create rough and final cuts.
  
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
  
• Improve audio quality by cleaning up speaking in the video where required.
  
• Create subtitles, intros, and outros.
  
• Generate thumbnails.
  
• Consult with stakeholders throughout the production to post-production process.
  
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
  
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
