Job Description - CUSTOMER SPECIALIST

Account & Relationship Management (Sales)

The  Customer Specialist finds ways to meet the needs of business customers so that the business customers are satisfied, increase their purchase amount and frequency, and become loyal to GH Office. S/he does all this while ensuring profitable sales for GH Office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Serves existing and potential customers by providing price quotes, alternative products, ensures that the customer receives their items
  • Proactively looks for new customers and industries, finding ways to contact decision makers who can become customers of GH Office.
  • Communicates regularly with clients through phone calls, emails, and site visits, to meet customer needs and ensure that GH Office is top of mind for office and school supplies.
  • Resolves customer complaints in an empathetic and timely manner, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Creates and maintains a record of existing and potential customers.
  • Facilitates prompt payments of customers in coordination with the collection department.
  • Pays necessary attention to detail on documentation or processes to avoid delayed payments, non-payments, or penalties by customers.
  • Point person for assigned customer for tasks such as the prompt processing of purchase orders, change orders, creation of sales orders, and other pertinent documents.
  • Regularly monitors delivery of all processed purchase orders to ensure customers’ receipt of goods and their satisfaction.
  • Works closely with the Purchasing department, Warehouse/ Inventory, to ensure the availability of stocks and profitability of transactions. S/he helps Purchasing by informing needed items ahead of time, keeping track of out-of-stock items, frequently asked for items, and assists in identifying suppliers. 
  • Perform other tasks assigned or as required by the immediate superior or management, to serve customers, fellow coworkers, and the company.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Gender : Male/Female

Educational Requirements : College Graduate preferably marketing or any business courses

Work Experience : preferably 1 year to 3 years of work experience in related field
