Job Description - Impact Monitoring Manager

Dana Asia is a philanthropic organisation that has been funding and advising sustainable development initiatives in the Asia and Pacific region since 2011. Dana Asia is a registered not-for-profit in Australia under ABN 44 627 282 615 with PBI and tax-deductible status and in Singapore under UEN 201106512M with a branch office in the Philippines under registration no. 2021100028037-3 and license to operate in Cambodia through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dana Asia finds sustainable solutions to overcome poverty by using social business, microfinance,and education as tools to address social problems in impoverished communities through improving access to productive resources and reducing inequalities. Dana Asia takes the role of funder and advisor, partnering with local communities and entities to implement projects within impoverished communities, primarily in the Philippines and Cambodia. The Role

Key responsibilities:

Impact monitoring & evaluation:

● Develop and implement comprehensive impact assessment frameworks in line with SDG monitoring

frameworks to measure the effectiveness and outcomes of Dana Asia programs and interventions.

● Design and oversee data collection processes, including the development of surveys, interviews, focus

groups, and other data collection tools.

● Lead the analysis and interpretation of impact data, identifying key trends, insights, and areas for

improvement.

● Collaborate with program teams to integrate impact measurement into program design, implementation, and

evaluation.

● Identify social and environmental issues affecting the organisation and work with project teams to identify

innovative solutions to address them.

● Develop and implement training plans to cultivate social and environmental impact skills and provide capacity

building and technical support to staff and partners on impact measurement and evaluation methodologies.

● Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, donors, and external stakeholders.

Impact reporting:

● Draft professional donor reports on a quarterly or ad hoc basis highlighting key project updates and

summarising impact data.

● Produce high-quality impact reports, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and

external stakeholders.

● Support in the preparation of marketing or reporting videos for donors and other stakeholders.

● Analyse data and produce relevant reports on social and environmental impact programs.

● Promote the organisation's social and environmental impact programs via social media, traditional media and

public presentations.

● Work closely with the Dana Asia team to ensure alignment of social and environmental impact strategies and

programs.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications:

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation, or related field,

preferably in the NGO sector.

● Proven track record of designing and implementing impact assessment frameworks and methodologies.

● Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, including data analysis and interpretation.

● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to

diverse audiences.

● Strong Office and Workspace skills and ability to make professional and engaging presentations, reports, etc.

● Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects

simultaneously.

● Commitment to Dana Asia’s mission and values, with a passion for creating positive social change.

Other information:

● This position will be based in Metro Manila with frequent meetings, site visits, and occasional travel within the

Philippines or beyond.

● Three professional references will be required.

● Pay scale of 35,000 PHP per month, plus 13th-month bonus.

● This position is on a contractor basis.

● Applicants must have permission to live and work in the Philippines.
