Responsibilities for IT manager

• Develops processes and procedures to meet organizational goals as it relates to assigned organization and business units
• Establishes guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the host computer operating systems
• Develops tools, procedures, and training sessions for Employees, Client Support and Systems Development staff to assist with work
• Creating and updating the supporting Demand Management / Forecasting Framework and the associated models
• Business intelligence of the information collected and translation into ITS Infrastructure and Resource requirements
• Participate and supports in developing the strategic direction for the department
• Interfaces with ITS and ETS teams to support the Demand Management / Forecasting framework
• Foster a cohesive and collaborative team environment within own team and across ETS as a whole
• Responsible for all aspects of Information Technology relating to NBC Connecticut
• Manage and operate all IT resources for NBC Connecticut

Qualifications for IT manager

• Extensive experience with developing and delivering client-facing mobile applications
• 5+ years of mobile application development, including iOS, Android, Blackberry, and mobile web
• Strong work ethic with high degree of proactive-ness and entrepreneurial attitude
• Knowledge of server infrastructure and networking would be an asset
• Mobile industry aware and willingness to constantly educate themselves on mobile innovations/industry trends

• Possess good forward thinking capabilities to drive out the maturity of Demand Management / Forecasting Model capabilities
