Work Hours: Monday - Friday 4 hour overlap with US EST time zone
Pay Range: $1,000-$1,800
Job Description
Support Shepherd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Marketing Manager to join our team. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our company and its products or services. You will collaborate with various teams to create and execute marketing campaigns, monitor their performance, and analyze data to optimize results.
Responsibilities:
- Work with owner to develop marketing strategies and tactics to increase qualified lead flow
- Deploy campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels including:
- Direct mail, pay-per-click, local community advertising opportunities (i.e., school / church bulletins, athletic league sponsorships), local newspaper/magazines, social media, and complimentary lead generation magnets (i.e., infographics, how-to guides)
- Produce valuable and engaging content both digital (blog, social media posts, website calculators) and print (flyers, coupons) that attracts and convert our target customers
- Build strategic relationships and partner with local community organizations and key industry vendors to expand brand awareness
- Oversee the creation of all marketing material
- Monitor the marketing spend on a weekly basis and propose changes in budget/spend, as needed
- Measure and report on campaign performance and assess against initial goals
- 3-10 years of similar experience
- Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading cross-channel marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics, and processing figures with spreadsheets
- A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field
