The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that services meet our standards of quality. They oversee the monitoring and audit of services to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Reports to Quality Assurance Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises the Quality Assurance Office's contractors. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, QA-Code of Conduct and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Provides leadership, develops, and implements the Quality Management Plan
- Provides professional technical support, troubleshoots, investigates, and assists in resolving internal and external customer concerns and/or performance problems
- Drives business success through focus quality initiative
- Writes Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to Quality Assurance/Quality Control
- Provides regular reports to management regarding escalating product quality problems
- Documents quality assurance and quality control activities and create Internal Review reports and provide recommendations to improve efficiency
- Makes recommendations for improvement to process or products
- Reads / interprets / understands written procedures
- Provides support for company QA/QC training programs
- Reviews and manages coaching results for compliance with company standards and Quality Management Plan
- Provides quality support and guidance to staff members
- Ensures compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of SWH guidelines, monitoring compliance etc
- Other duties as assigned by Quality Assurance Manager
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Proficient in and ability to demonstrate basic computer skill set. (i.e., use of Excel, Microsoft Word. etc.)
- On time delivery of Internal Review reports and completion of Quality Management Plan
- Quality Management Plan review, implementation, and completion
- Must have excellent communication and leadership skills
- Must be able to quickly analyze and improve Quality Assurance/Control workflow
- Must be able to effectively present ideas to team Managers
- Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates, peers, and vendors
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in quality assurance/ control
- Must be able to bring your own home office set-up with high-speed, reliable internet
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with major study in quality assurance, education, education technology, or related field.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality control
