Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Topology Research: Lead research efforts to define power electronics topologies based on our products, driving innovation and optimization in power conversion technology.
2. Applications Development: Design, develop, and optimize applications using our products, leveraging your expertise to create innovative solutions for a variety of applications.
3. Application Boards Design: Spearhead the design and development of application boards using our products, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance.
4. Algorithm Development: Develop advanced algorithms to automatically optimize design applications using our products, enhancing efficiency and performance.
5. New Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in new product development and research of new applications, contributing to our product roadmap and innovation strategy.
6. Design Evaluation: Evaluate designs built using our products, conducting comprehensive circuit evaluation, simulation, and computation to ensure compliance with specifications.
7. Technical Support: Provide expert design documentation, training materials, and technical support to users and customers, ensuring they have the resources and assistance they need.
8. Customer Support: Offer design support and technical advice to our customers worldwide, helping them meet their design requirements and overcome technical challenges.
9. Technical Publications: Research and write technical application materials for publication and presentation at conferences, seminars, trade magazines, and data books, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 5 years or more work and technical experience.
• 5 years of experience as an Applications or Design Engineer in power converters, resonant converters, inverters, motor applications and control, programming, power electronics design, switching/switch mode power supply (SMPS), electronic equipment usage, control loop design, magnetics design, EMI/ESD/surge/thermal considerations, PCB layout and design, and circuit simulation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience in creating design specifications, technical report writing, and test plans/instructions.
• Experience designing power electronics circuitry for industrial equipment or consumer devices is desirable.
• Background or experience in programming is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and be trained, with openness to detailed discussions, suggestions, and planning.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
