Job Description - Scheduling Analyst

We are looking for two Scheduling Analysts to join our Products & Scheduling Team to facilitate our operational delivery of exams and make Cambridge International qualifications available to schools and students around the world.

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role

As key members of our team, the goal of the two Scheduling Analysts will be to work closely together to manage the timetable creation process across the different administrative zones we work with and create the results key dates documentation for each examination series. These processes are pivotal in the successful delivery of each series and requires strong collaboration with many key internal and external stakeholders to be successful.

Following our guidelines and procedures you will learn to become an expert in the complex process of creating the exam timetables and presenting your work to stakeholders for review.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be comfortable working with data (gathering, analysis & visualisation) and presenting to an audience of stakeholders.
  • Have advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP formula and pivot tables.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate to key stakeholders.

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

  • Loves taking on a challenge, is confident in making decisions, and is able to back these up with evidence and data.
  • Experience in creating schedules or planning tools which require you to consider various different requirements.
  • Problem-solving skills - you enjoy looking at problems with many possible solutions and finding the best outcome.
  • Awareness of the exam cycle and/or operational processes within the education sector.
  • Amenability to work in UK hours and hybrid setup.

As this role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, part of the selection process will require you to complete an English test and practical task prior to interview.
