Software Development Engineer

Qualifications Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve working with Informatica PowerCenter, PostgreSQL, Perl Scripts, and Unix Shell Scripting to perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. - Create and maintain database objects in PostgreSQL, including tables, indexes, and views. - Develop and maintain Perl scripts and Unix shell scripts to automate processes and tasks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement solutions that meet business requirements. - Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Perl Scripts, and Unix Shell Scripting. - Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data integration best practices. - Experience with SQL and database design principles. - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. - This position is based in Manila.
