Fleet Controller

Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for a Fleet Controller who can work with us full-time and on-site!

Where Crown 7 Business Centre, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, Cebu

As a Fleet Controller,

will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our client's fleet management, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze complex data sets to improve fleet operations.

Some of the things we expect you to do are to:

• Analyze fleet performance metrics such as fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, and driver behaviour to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize fleet operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Monitor real-time fleet activities using GPS tracking systems and other relevant technology, and proactively address any issues or disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, logistics, and procurement to ensure seamless coordination and execution of fleet operations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing key performance indicators, insights, and recommendations for senior management.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in fleet management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to fleet personnel on analytical tools, processes, and methodologies to enhance their effectiveness and productivity.

Requirements

We would need you to be or have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations, with a strong focus on data analysis and process improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in analytical tools and software such as Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with fleet management systems and telematics technology is preferred.

It would be awesome if you are or also have:

• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, CSCP) is a MAJOR PLUS!
