Income Auditor

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the system generated revenue reflects completely all of the day's transactions.
• Audit daily revenues from Other Operated Departments such as Transportation, Laundry and Business Centre for completeness.
• Ensure that all of the day's Banquet revenue has been recorded.
• Review paid-outs for reasonableness, proper approval and supporting documentation.
• Verify supports for hotel complimentary and house use rooms.
• Review all officers and entertainment checks for propriety and ensure that they are signed and authorized.
• Daily audit and reconciliation with Casino Finance for gaming comps and points payment, Casino Executive and PAGCOR checks, casino floor drinks and snacks.
• Audit all outlet void checks for explanation and approval by Outlet Managers or delegated personnel and by the Chef in instance of canceled kitchen orders.
• Review guest ledger balances daily and audit questionable movements.
• Investigate open checks that are still pending for a certain period. Case should be reported to Outlet Manager for further action.
• Ensures that all employee City Ledger accounts are closed at month end.
• Carry out surprise cash counts of cashier's floats.
• Prepare an audit exemption report based on daily audit activities, follow until the case is resolved/closed.
• Maintain organized files of all pertinent audit records.
• Assists Income Audit Manager to accomplish the daily and monthly preparation of hotel revenue reports.
• Must be flexible and able to work in mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays when necessary.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned. Assists in ad hoc projects and other tasks.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accounting/ Internal Audit/ other Finance related course; CPA is a plus.
• Preferably with at least 1 years of auditing experience in hotel and restaurant.
• Pre-opening experience in 5-star hotel or integrated resort is a plus.
• With experience of using Opera PMS and POS systems.
• Able to communicate with different levels of management.
• With knowledge in computerized system, Point-of-Sale, Property Management System and other computer applications.
• Excellent auditing skills.
