JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist/Social Media Strategist will spearhead the formulation and implementation of all approved marketing activities to help the business grow.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare the monthly calendar of activities based on the needs of the establishment.
Conceptualize, plan, and assist in the implementation of exciting and appealing marketing promotions to increase transaction count, customer engagement, and satisfaction through offline (traditional) and online channels (social media-based channels - Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok)
Close coordination and cooperation with the Restaurant Supervisor regarding the implementation of the marketing program
Conduct S.W.O.T. analysis of the business and find approaches to address awareness via online (regular Social Media posts) and offline channels (banners, tarpaulin installation on high foot traffic locations)
Establish partnerships with business establishments through online (e.g. podcasts or interviews) and offline channels (e.g. company events, partnership with other establishments for a common goal)
Conduct regular competitive checks of all establishments that may affect the growth of the business in the community
Evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing program implemented through the sales outcome, reviews received from the customers, and feedback from potential customers, restaurant crew, and partners (if applicable)
Utilize Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for TOP OF MIND customer recall
Provide the management team with the latest marketing trends related to the business unit handled
Follow all the company policies and procedures at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of Business related course or Social Media Management (minimum requirement)
Familiar and can navigate Wix.com
Familiar with tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, & other editing applications or software
With experience in editing photos and videos (e.g. reels, panning)
Background in Social Media Marketing
Customer Service Experience is a plus
Related experience in the Food & Beverage Industry IS AN ADVANTAGE
REQUIREMENTS
Updated CV with a recent photo and Portfolio of completed work
Valid NBI Clearance
Recent Police Clearance
Reference Letter from previous employers or Certificate of Employment
Medical Certificate - Fit to Work Certificate from a reputable diagnostic clinic
Willing to undergo a background check and provide all the details needed
Willing to work on holidays and weekends
Solid Marketing and Sales background
Excellent Communication, Presentation, and Negotiation Skills
Exceptional Planning and Organizing Skills
