Job Description

Leads and supervises the Events team to ensure smooth operation of the department to maximize business opportunities and to deliver the highest service standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs all activities to the department to ensure the smooth running of the department.
• Assist in preparation of the Marketing Plan.
• Implements all Sales action plans related to assigned market segments as stated in the Marketing Plan.
• Provides information on changing market conditions, competitor activities, client feedback and trends in the industry.
• Assigns function space in the Opera Sales and Catering System/ Function Reservation Book, and ensures all information is accurate.
• Prepares related reports and special projects as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality of all documents, materials and all information in relation to assigned duties.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of bachelor's degree in the related field
• at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the same capacity specializing in Hotel Management and Tourism Services
• Proven track record from the said role
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
