ASSISTANT MANAGER – CORPORATE SALES
Job Summary:
Accountable for increasing market share and achievement of the New Business Direct sales target through the acquisition of identified and targeted SME accounts. Engages in the direct targeting of identified corporate accounts per industry and market segment.
Responsible for maintaining a pool of targeted and identified corporate accounts as well as adherence to the timeline of activities required to be accomplished year-round.
Organizes product campaign activities and selling strategies designed to increase awareness about products and services; implements controls to manage risks and ensure compliance to own key responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitors and ensures achievement of sales target thru acquisition of new accounts and retention of existing portfolio.
- Analyzes and endorses proposal to Immediate Superiors based on approved limit on rates from Actuarial.
- Analyzes and recommends pricing, benefits packages, etc. to Immediate Superior to ensure closure/renewal of account.
- Analyzes, discusses and negotiates with Clients for closing and/or renewal of accounts.
- Reviews and escalates to Immediate Superior all pricing and benefits concerns for disposition
- Collect data, analyzes, and prepares Client proposals based on pricing from Actuarial and Sales, updates presentation materials and correspondences and endorses them to Immediate Superior all pricing and benefits concerns for disposition.
- Leads and ensures training and compliance for C4C/SAP and is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of his/her team for automation projects and initiatives of the department/division.
- Collaborates and schedule meetings, presentations and negotiations with Clients, depending on the size and sensitivity of the account.
- Collates data, reviews and ensures completeness of all supporting documents for closed/renewed accounts before submission to Immediate Superior for endorsement to Actuarial, QRFT, Underwriting and Account Management Support Team.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure adherence to the contract stipulation
- and ensures compliance to the Know-Your-Client (KYC) policies, good governance and other policies related to account management.
- Collates data, analyzes, prepares and ensures timely submission of weekly report to Immediate Superior on client information, updates or customer feedback, Sales Report, Calendar of Activities, DNR, P&L Report, etc.
- Collates data, analyzes, prepares and submit Periodic Utilization Report to Clients/brokers.
Job Qualifications:
- College graduate of 4, 5-year course, preferably Business or related course
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an account executive or accounts offer or relevant to the role.
- Background in health insurance/insurance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or relevant is an advantage
- Skilled in the following: customer focus, results driven, collaborative, innovative, corporate sales, business development, sales, market segment, presentation skill, effective communication skill, etc.
- Amendable to work on Makati City.
