Job Description - Director/ Head of Americas Field Marketing

Overview Verkada is in search of an exceptional Head of North American Field Marketing—a true rockstar in the field. We need someone who not only excels in their craft but can also lead a team to unparalleled execution and innovation. This person will team up with sales leadership to drive customer engagement and success across the geography, hire and lead a growing team of field marketers across the region, partner tightly with the digital and acquisition team to drive demand, and work with our channel team and partners to develop and support a best-in-class ecosystem cloud/physical security expertise.As a Verkada Field Marketing Manager you are the CMO for the ANZ region and an essential part of the Field Marketing and regional field sales organization. You will define the solutions focus areas, strategic direction and marketing and demand generation needs to create pipeline. You will work with partners to develop a best-in-class ecosystem of security expertise. And you will drive and insure customer success, engagement and loyalty in key accounts across your region. In This Role You Will

  • Drive the creation of annual and quarterly plans focused on actionable and measurable initiatives aligned to pipeline and bookings targets, quarterly budgets, and overall business goals
  • Act as the overall lead for field marketing in North America for sales, customers, and partners
  • Act as a player coach directly executing and owning a broad range of critical components of your marketing strategy focused on top partners, accounts, industries and segments
  • Drive local, high touch, thought leadership and customer executive collaboration and community on the topic of physical security, cloud, and privacy
  • Execute targeted account-based programs for new prospects current customers
  • Work with our channel teams to develop in field co-marketing motions with top partners
  • Advise the digital and outbound Acquisition team as they develop, plan, execute, and measure supporting, highly impactful demand generation and marketing campaigns
  • Manage and act on daily data, insights, and results from field marketing programs

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in an IT, high-tech, environment
  • Expert understanding of marketing, in particular best in class execution of social, event, thought leadership, channel, community, and account based marketing, and the ability to share that with others.
  • Experience as a leader and manager of a high performing team
  • Proven ability to act as an executive partner to sales and to engage with customers at every level
  • Experience working with channel and strategic partners to achieve excellent results
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Passion to provide the best, most innovative security solutions to businesses around the world
  • Strong SFDC and Marketo/Hubspot experience
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to dive deep to see what’s working where you can innovate
  • Ability to execute, day in and day out, at an incredibly high level against consistent results
  • Get things done attitude
