What is the job?
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) software. This role will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of employee data, providing technical support to HR team members and employees, generating reports for HR analytics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline HR workflows.
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of HRIS software, including data migration, system testing, and end-user training.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS database, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Provide technical support to HR team members and employees on HRIS-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving discrepancies.
- Generate custom reports and dashboards to support HR analytics and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and streamline HR workflows.
- Stay up-to-date on HRIS best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and documentation for HRIS users.
- Participate in HRIS system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive HR data at all times.
What you bring to the job?
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a HRIS Administrator or a similar role.
- Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data management principles ensuring accurate and compliant handling of employee records within the HRIS database.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping ensuring integrity and reliability of HR data within the system.
- Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
