Position

As a Payment Posting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other payers. This is a great opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately post payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other payers into the billing system
  • Review payment discrepancies and resolve issues to ensure accurate posting
  • Reconcile payments to the corresponding remittance advice and explanation of benefits statements
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or denials, working closely with the billing and coding department
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to payment posting processes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of payment postings, adjustments, and corrections
  • Assist with payment reconciliation and reporting to management as needed
  • Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to identify and resolve outstanding balances and account discrepancies
  • Keep up-to-date with industry changes and payer guidelines to ensure accurate payment posting processes
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with additional relevant certification or education preferred
  • Proven experience in payment posting within a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of medical billing practices
  • Proficient in using electronic billing and payment systems, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve payment discrepancies
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements

Work Location: Quezon City

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php 35,000-45,000 per month

Benefits:

  • Contributions to PhilHealth, SSS, and Pag-IBIG
  • Paid leave: Sick, Paternity, Annual, Public holidays
  • Monetary compensation: 13th-month pay and overtime
  • New Hires begin as contractors for the first two months before they are eligible for a review for direct employment.

Ability to commute/relocate: Manila, PH: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)
