Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivables and Credit & Collection teams.

  • The role will be responsible in managing the daily operations of US & Canada Credit particularly on cash collection, credit review, cash application, credit reconciliation, FSS Support (resale tax management & vendor maintenance)

  • The role will engage with internal business partners (Sales, Purchasing) in order to optimize performance

  • Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives

  • Oversee, review and implement strategic policies when selecting robust methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to meet agreed performance levels/outcomes

  • Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives

  • Review and implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and excellence in service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Proven 5 years experience in a managerial or leadership role overseeing Accounts Receivables and Credit & Collection functions.

  • Strong understanding of billing, invoicing, credit management, and collection processes.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred.

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Open to work in the night shift

  • Open to work on a hybrid set-up (McKinley Hill office)
