• Oversee and lead the medical coding operations for our global healthcare company, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement coding policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Provide leadership and guidance to coding staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including revenue cycle management, compliance, and IT, to streamline coding processes and improve revenue capture.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring our coding practices remain current and compliant.
• Drive performance metrics and KPIs related to coding accuracy, productivity, and revenue integrity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Medical or Allied Medical course
• With Active AAPC and/or AHIMA certification (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Hospital Billing and Professional Billing coding practices.
• Proven leadership experience in a medical coding role, with a track record of driving operational excellence and team performance.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements related to medical coding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving coding accuracy, compliance, and revenue integrity.
