PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Physiotherapy, OT & Rehabilitation (Healthcare & Medical)

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
• With active PRC License

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Gives and administers PT treatment procedures as prescribed by the Physiatrist or referring Physician.
• Documentation of patient and reports on the progress of the patient to the Physiatrist and PT Head
• Gives home care instructions, self-care activities in accordance with the prescription of the referring physician or physiatrist.
• Evaluates the patient for function, limitations and potential for rehabilitation.
• Trains patient and family in the use and care of the rehabilitation equipment and home exercise programs.
• Supervises PT interns in the administration of PT procedures and maintenance of cleanliness of the PT Unit.
• Helps in transporting In-patients to the Unit for treatment and in-charge of gait training.
• Takes charge of the safe keeping of linens and the maintenance of modalities/ equipment.
• Responsible for patient charges (OPD and IPD) and unit requests.
