Job Description - Private Equity Analyst

Corporate Finance & Investment Banking (Banking & Financial Services)

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to evaluate investment opportunities within the senior housing sector that we are considering.
  • Perform financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the viability of potential investments, including cash flow projections, valuation models, and investment return analyses.
  • Assist in the due diligence process, including financial, operational, and legal due diligence.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the investment committee, highlighting the potential risks and opportunities of proposed investments.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of existing portfolio assets, including analyzing operational data and financial statements to assess asset health and identify value-add opportunities.
  • Work closely with asset management and operations teams to implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing property value.
  • Stay abreast of trends, regulations, and developments within the senior housing and broader real estate markets that could impact our investment strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate investment, finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience in senior housing or healthcare real estate.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with a strong command of Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
