Job Description - Product Owner Digital Customer Experience

By joining us as a Product Owner, Digital Customer Experience , you will be responsible for defining stories and prioritizing the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities with coordination and communication across multiple Agile Teams in an Agile Release Train (ART) within the Automation Solutions Platform Services.

In this capacity, you will be in a key leadership role within Emerson IT. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To work closely with product management, architecture, and technical/delivery leadership to refine and prioritize the backlog of features and user stories.
  • To collaborate with the business partners on refining the scope of features.
  • To work closely with ART leadership on defining roadmaps and with the development team and QA team to detect quality issues and help to correct them.
  • To participate in iteration planning, iteration retrospective, and daily team sync ceremonies.
  • To drive quality control of features by testing against feature/user story acceptance criteria, definition of done, and non-functional requirements.
  • To lead the effort in producing the system demo for the program and Value Stream partners.
  • To acquire feedback from business partners and customers on the value of the delivered solutions continuously via interviews, meetings, iteration reviews, and system demos.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related courses.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the IT software development field.
  • Experience in IT Business Systems and e-commerce application scope and implementation.
  • Proficiency in data query language and reporting tools (Excel, Access, PL/SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Teams, MURAL, etc.).
  • Experience in Process and Scope Modeling.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart

  • Scale Agile SAFe for Teams and Product Owner/Product Manager certificate is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Automation Solutions, Digital Customer Experience, Global Online Store is an advantage.
