Job Description - Project Manager/ Technical Writer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager and Technical Writer to join our dynamic PMO team. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting clients and executive management by managing projects, generating sales and technical documentation, and various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in office software, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Project Management & Administration:
  • Identify project goals and scope
  • Create a project plan that outlines tasks, timelines, and resources required.
  • Monitor progress to ensure that the project stays on track
  • Manage risks and issues
  • Reporting to stakeholders and project team
  • Evaluate project's efficiency and effectiveness by identifying shortcomings and plan for ways to fix similar issues in the future.
Communication:
  • Serve as a point of contact between clients and the Team
  • Facilitate project status meetings and client kick off calls
  • Communicate Project Status updates to management
  • Collaborate with clients by keeping open lines of communication for updates and feedback.
  • Communicate with clients and internal Teams to gather necessary information and provide updates.
  • Assist in responding to client inquiries and ensure that issues are resolved promptly
Budget Management:
  • Track project budgets to ensure there are no overages
  • Work with the Team's Back Office in generating and sending accurate and timely invoices to customers.
Reporting:
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports to clients and project teams
  • Prepare and distribute ad hoc reports for management
  • Organize and maintain customer and prospect data.
Technical Writing:
  • Review and revise contract terms and conditions as needed to align with corporate standards and client requirements.
  • Generate and update sales-related documentation, including SOW's, MSAs, MNDAs, contracts, presentations, and proposals.
  • Generate client documentation, including troubleshooting, SOP, infrastructure diagrams, Incident Response summaries, and project summaries.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in Project Management with 5+ years experience and technical writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in Project Management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, etc
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in diagramming software such as LucidChart, Visio, etc
  • Knowledge of sales processes and a strong understanding of business principles
  • Familiarity with legal terms and contract language, with the ability to review and understand contract terms
