Medical Billing Service Analyst

ClinicMind is a Health IT and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) service company. We are looking for a full-time Medical Billing Service Analyst who can solve technical and complex billing problems, keep up with insurance rules changes, and manage client relationships with practice owners and their staff while working alongside an offshore billing service team. This position reports to the Vice President of SWAT Billing Services Department. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Become the Subject Matter Expert for our proprietary billing system

2. Enhance client and company profitability through strategic initiatives

3. Foster teamwork with providers and troubleshoot any arising issues

4. Resolve intricate billing queries to ensure providers receive full and timely payments

5. Identify root causes of submission failures, underpayments, and payment delays

6. Stay updated on insurance regulations and adapt to ongoing changes

7. Establish a comprehensive billing knowledge base and implement billing automation rules

8. Manage and ensure accountability of billing teams for follow-up and posting tasks

9. Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, which includes conducting Billing Setup Calls, facilitating enrollments, and reviewing account set up for accuracy. 

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Skills: 

1. Knowledgeable in US Healthcare, medical insurance industry, and insurance claims processing cycle

2. Excellent verbal and written communication

3. Comfortable with conflict resolution

4. Comfortable at multi-tasking and managing multiple high-priority projects

5. Comfortable with the Internet and various computer systems

2. Specialties: General Medicine, All Specialties, Surgery, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic

3. Preferred Certifications: CPC, CPCO, CPB, CPPM

4. Required Experience: 1 to 2 years

1. High comfort level working on the Eastern Time Zone/US Shift

2. Good internet access at home

3. Mobile Hotspot

4. Laptop/Desktop of at least 8 GB
