Role Summary:

A commercial role accountable for the retention and development of a specific number of allocated top & mid-tier, important, volume customers. The Account Manager will directly own and manage the Travelport relationship with the specified customers with the aim of retaining and growing the revenue and EBITDA generated by those customers for Travelport.

Key Accountabilities:

-Manage a portfolio of top-tier customer accounts, serving as the primary sales contact and fostering strong relationships.
-Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow accounts, promoting Travelport products and increasing revenue.
-Negotiate contract renewals and maintain long-term customer relationships.
-Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer support and optimize resources.
-Communicate effectively with customers, translating technical terms into business metrics.
-Identify new business opportunities and overcome competitive threats while maintaining profitability.
-Map customer requirements to Travelport's offerings to drive business growth.
-Develop and maintain sales plans, manage CRM pipelines, and build key internal relationships. Required Experience:


-Strong commercial skills with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable plans.
-Proven sales leadership, capable of negotiating deals at senior levels.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
-Deep understanding of Travelport's business model, technology, and the travel technology landscape.
-Numerically literate with financial acumen and a focus on customer satisfaction.
-Strong analytical skills and sound judgement in complex situations.
-Demonstrated leadership qualities.
