Assistant Finance Director

A prestigious hotel, part of a distinguished hospitality chain, is currently seeking an Assistant Finance Director for its Manila location. The role will be part of the hotel leadership team and will report to the Director of Finance. This role will be responsible for safeguarding the hotel assets and financial resources contributing towards maximizing hotel profitability. Provide timely and accurate financial information and counsel to hotel senior management (and ownership) and ensure that the hotel operates within all related local and corporate policies and procedures and under the terms of the management agreement and any other applicable agreements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organizational financial stability.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and ensure compliance to local law and regulations, including tax and corporate governance.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Provides sound business advice on projects evaluation and capital expenditure justification.
• Oversee information technology and purchasing functions.
• Manage business and operations risk effectively and addresses to Owners and/ or Corporate office on any major risk concern.
• Engage in various ad hoc functions as assigned by Director of Finance or Corporate office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-year experience of overall finance and accounting in hotel industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• Knowledge of the Philippine Tax System

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php120,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• 13th month salary
