Job Description - Beverage Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

The position is responsible for the delivery of the highest standard beverage service both alcoholic and non alcoholic , lead the team with constant presence on the floor, interact and entertain guests, organize and execute bar related events and meet and exceed beverage budgets.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create Beverage Program
  • Order beverages and maintain inventory
  • Manage employees training and schedules
  • Generate and manage cost reports
  • Aware of all in-house guest requirements
  • Keep highest standards of hygiene
  • Support the overall leadership and management of the hotel in the smooth running of the operations
    • Assist in organizing all documents for shift work on a daily basis including reports, daily training topics and requisitions for beverage
    • Monitor and test service skills of employees, retain and reinforce all standards on beverage quality and daily service detail.
    • Provide feedback and appraisal as necessary
    • Monitor and supervise the bar par stock
    • Regularly review house counts, VIP list and maintain the confidential ity of the hotel and its guests
    • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the amenities set up and delivery
    • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of hotel areas 
  • To inter act with guests as required to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and maximize the returns to the hotel
  • To motivate and supervise all employees involved in the provision of F&B , and ensure that the service they deliver is in line with the best service standards
  • Participate in and lead delivery of required training for department employees to meet the needs of the business
  • Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner and report any issues to Assistant F&B Manager
  • Work with other outlet managers and supervisors and keep them inform ed of food & beverage issue s
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by team and guests
  • Complete tasks as directed by management and other reasonable duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferably with Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management
  • At least three (3) years experience in the same capacity, preferably in a luxury setting
  • Preferably with WSET certification
  • Maintain sound knowledge of departmental standards and procedures
  • Maintain a high level of product kn owledge
  • Maintain Aman's standards of attitude, behavior and appearance
  • Have sound a knowledge of all F&B Menus
