POSITION SUMMARY
In accordance with the policies, procedure standards of Chroma Hospitality and Quest Hotel Tagaytay, under the
supervision of the Financial Controller, the Chief Accountant assist the Financial Controller to ensure that all daily work
is performed in a timely manner and in accordance with Hotel standards. Ensures that all deadlines are met when
reporting month-end financials to corporate office.

Establishes and communicates customer service objectives
which support achievements of Quests Mission and Vision.
Monitors customer service levels.
Responding to customer requests.
Determines customer delight level and needs by reviewing
comment cards and talking to customers regularly.
Performs other duties as required to provide Only the BEST for
our Guests service and teamwork.

2.1. Chief Accountant Duties &
Responsibilities - Under the direction of the Financial Controller, assure that all
areas are adhering to set standards in the performance of their
duties.
Review balance sheet reconciliation.
Ensure that the daily report _____ is ready for distribution by
_____ am, review and approve the report for accuracy.
Review all rebates, paid outs and miscellaneous charges on a
daily basis, review all concession payments, check for supporting
documents and that the agreed commission rate is deducted.
Review and follow up outstanding checks, goods received
without invoice and outstanding payable reports on a weekly
basis.
Review A/R aging with the Supervisor and comment on accounts
over 60 days. Amounts over 60 days should not be more than
______ of total A/R aging balance. Assure that the daily in-house
guest balance is being reviewed and verified for sufficient credit
approvals.
Ensure that the General Cashiers daily cash count balances with
the total bank balance. The General Cashiers bank must be
counted at days end and count sheet must be submitted for
approval.
Review the payroll forecast for the rest of the year based on
occupancy and F&B projected business. Update on a monthly
basis or whenever there is a considerable change that will affect
the financial results for that given period.
Update the latest estimate (revenues and expenses) to show
what we can expect to happen based on credible factors such as
occupancy percentage and unexpected expenses. This report
must be approved by the Financial Controller for distribution on
a monthly basis.
Assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of financial
reports needed by the owner and by the corporate office.
Assist the Financial Controller in preparation of the Hotel annual
budget plan, and once approved, ensure data is inputted into
general ledger system.
Prepare weekly cash flow by inputting all transactions such as
Accounts Payable payments, bank transfers, and other account,
payroll and other disbursement.

4 GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all
problems or unusual matters of significance.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient
manner in accordance with established Hotel policies and
procedures to achieve the overall objectives.
Prepares reports as necessary to develop a more informative
database for better Management decision-making and critical
evaluation of work activities.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Hotel
employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious
working climate.
At all times, projects a favorable image of Quest Hotel Tagaytay
to the public.
Practices the Guiding Principles and Core Values of Quest
Hospitality.
Performs any other duties and tasks that may be assigned by
immediate superiors from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
EDUCATIONAL
ATTAINMENT
- Must be a graduate of a reputable university
- Post-graduate/
Masters degree is a plus
WORK
EXPERIENCE
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in the same position in a Hotel
- Preferably with previous experience with the Big 4 auditing firms
Must be familiar with taxation and regulatory requirements of the BIR,
Local Government, SEC and Board of Investment offices.
TRAINING
ACQUIRED
LICENCES OR
CERTIFICATES - Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
