Job Overview:
1. Team Leadership: As a Concierge Supervisor, you will lead and manage a team of concierge staff. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising team members.
2. Guest Services: You are responsible for ensuring that all guest services are provided efficiently and in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner. This includes assisting guests with various requests, such as transportation, restaurant reservations, sightseeing recommendations, and more.
3. Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints or issues with diplomacy and problem-solving skills, striving to resolve them promptly and to the satisfaction of the guest.
4. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with guests, team members, and other departments within the resort to ensure that all guest requests and needs are met promptly.
5. Guest Information: Maintain up-to-date information on local attractions, events, and services to provide guests with accurate recommendations and information.
6. Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks such as managing the concierge desk's budget, inventory, and reporting.
7. Security and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of guests and their belongings, and follow established protocols for handling security-related matters.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, but a college degree in hospitality or related fields can be an advantage.
- 3 years of experience in a concierge or guest services or similar role gained from a 5-star luxury Resort.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is often preferred.
2. Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
3. Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, as you will be interacting with guests, staff, and other departments.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to handle guest complaints and difficult situations with tact and diplomacy is crucial.
5. Organizational Skills: The role involves multitasking and prioritizing guest requests and team responsibilities effectively.
6. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local area, including restaurants, attractions, and transportation options, is important for providing guests with accurate recommendations.
