Travel + Leisure Global Support Services Philippines is seeking a Consumer Finance Officer fluent in Mandarin to join our team. As a Consumer Finance Officer, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and providing support to our Mandarin-speaking customers.
Responsibilities
- Regularly review the status of all accounts receivable including collections to ensure that accounts receivable maintains high currency rates
- Review daily postings to ensure correct application of monies
- Management of the month end process ensuring all aspects are considered and able to prepare, execute, review and analyse month end results including key drivers, trends and KPI's
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of actions, events and account maintenance of the collections and servicing systems ensuring that customer confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Undertaking and overseeing credit worthiness checks and risk analysis in the department
- Ensure timely processing of all applications and contracts
- Ensure timely processing of all cancellations of contracts including refund processing
- Cash application and batching using multiple internal and banking systems and currencies
- Responsible for account reconciliation.
- Process and manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist Mandarin-speaking customers with their financial inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in consumer finance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial products and services.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in the Collections/Accounts Receivable
- Experience in Lending industry
- First-rate problem solving and negotiation skills, with experience in complaints management and conflict resolution.
- Excellent time management, multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to delegate appropriately
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
