Director of Engineering

Ayala Land Hotels and Resorts Corporation is looking for Director of Engineering. We showcase our sustainability efforts in the hospitality services in El Nido, Palawan, one of the country's major eco-tourism destinations.

Job Summary:

• Provides a high level of property maintenance knowledge.
• Overall responsible for maintaining the properties, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection.
• Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation.
• Develops and implements strategies that will deliver products and services, which meet or exceed the needs and expectations of guests and employees while maximizing the financial performance.
• Responsible for maintaining standards and regulatory requirements. Leads the emergency response team for all facility issues.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Must have at least 5 years' experience in Resorts/Island operations
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is a plus
• Knowledgeable in management of physical plant such as Desalination, STP, Powerhouse, including equipment, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Well organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Professional and diplomatic
• Amenability to be based in Palawan
