The Director of Events Management is responsible for driving and achieving revenue targets and create strategies, action plans and packages to achieve this. He/she should collaborate with marketing team to come up with activities to promote the hotel’s functions spaces and catering offers and conduct regular revenue production review to identify opportunities and risks.
The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of work experience in Events, Sales or F&B. He/she should have excellent oral and written communication skills and should be be analytic, collaborative, creative and organized.
The Director of Events Management should be able to lead the events management team. He/she should conduct trainings, performance appraisals and regular monthly meetings with the team. He/she shall also represent the hotel in fairs, trade shows, forums and networking events necessary for his/her role.
