Director of Finance

Responsibilities:

• Conducts special reviews, studies and feasibilities plans for Management use.
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Other areas of potential responsibility: company insurance, contracts and agreements, legal areas and activities, corporate level negotiations (i.e. premises, plant, trading, acquisitions and divestments, disposals), major supplier/customer/partner relationships, regulatory bodies relationships and strategies, approvals and accreditations.
• Coordinates with all Department Heads, Statutory Agencies, External Auditors, and Bank transaction.
• Be a willing team worker at all times. Accepts and performs special assignments within or outside his Department as requested by the Immediate Head.
• Keeps abreast of all company policies and code of conduct by reading and understanding all guidelines issued pertaining to such matters; and performing such duties and functions as specified in the guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with corporate finance and audit background.
• At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in auditing, preferably from the big 4 auditing firms in the country.
• At least 5 years’ experience in financial management preferably in real estate/developer or hotel industry.
• Experienced working overseas for a 5-star hotel/resort is preferred.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Customer service oriented.
• Knowledgeable of SFAS rules.
• Report writing skills and analytical skills.
• Planning & developing budgets.
• Willing to work full time onsite in Palawan.
