HR Manager with focus on Recruiting, Learning and Dev. & Performance Managment

Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment)

We are a fast expanding food trading and food service business with 170 employees. After steady growth we are focusing to professionalize our supporting functions to ensure sustainable success. We have a very open and transparent culture with a lot of freedom for employees with initiative. Leaders are expected to fully embrace the responsibility given and work as independent and pro-active as possible. The company is oner run with a very approachable attitude. Our office is based at the border between Taguig and Pasig, Barangay Ibayo-Tipas. Commuting there can be challenging and we therefore only accept applications with relative short commuting distance or willingness to re-locate.

Qualifications & experience

  • Job relevant collage degree with outstanding academic results
  • Extensive work experience in the field of HR, preferably in various functions and as a generalist, but being ideally specialized in Recruiting & Selection, Learning and Development, Performance Managment and as a nice to have, organizational development
  • Able to work both on strategic level, but as a MUST have requirement you have to "get things done", be output oriented and have an efficient work style that focuses on work that has the highest business impact
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication skills, both empathetic and national aura of assertiveness. You must display confidence and overcome roadblocks while implementing a lot of change

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Overall in charge of HR in the company with focus on developing the HR function
  • Ensure that your team member manages HR administration according to set standards and give inputs for continuous improvement
  • Establish suitable recruiting & selection strategy and process including coaching and training of line managers how to interview and select
  • Search for key positions in hiring process
  • Complete overhall and and introduction of performance management and evaluation process
  • Establishment of training as well as learning and development process
  • Strategy work with GM in particular how to establish HR as the long term foundation for company's future success
  • Establish ongoing program that helps us to make company values a reality in all parts of the organization
  • Managment of HR service providers such as training companies, recruitment agencies etc.
  • Design and implement suitable employer branding strategy

PRODUCT/SERVICES: We are a vertically integrated Food Supply Chain provider with focus on fresh and frozen meats and vegetables. Our value chain:

Global Sourcing of meats and import of frozen ocean freight containersLocal sourcing (we are the largest distributor of Bounty Fresh)(Cold) Storage in own and third party facilitiesPreparation of products to customer specs (cutting, re-packing, portioning)Commissary operationJust in time delivery to: A) Hotels/Restaurants B) Supermarkets D) Food traders C) Consumers (on very limited scale)Operation of third party and Inhouse meat shop retail outlets.

LOCATION: Main operation in 2188 Elisco Road. Border Taguig/Pasig between C5 and C6. Branch office in Bicol

COMPANY: Owner managed, 6 day operation with about 100 staff. We are on a path of professionalization of the company and every recruit need to work independently with ownership and drive to support this ambition.

GOLDEN ACRES GROUP: We are part of a larger, family group of companies with multiple sites . In particular Golden Acres Farms with 6 operations sites across Luzon is closely associated to us. Any managerial position is expected to support to manage Golden Acres Farms activities as far as workload allows
