QAQC Assistant

Role description : Arcadis Philippines is currently seeking QA/QC Assistant to provide inspections on finishing materials, architectural fitouts and finishes on new building construction projects in the Philippines. Role accountabilities:

• Conducts quality inspections and witnesses testing (Architecture/Finishes- walls, false ceiling, dry walls, doors, windows) based on Inspection and Test Plan, Checklist, Method Statement and Works Procedures.
• Inspects delivered materials for their compliance to Project specification/ approved samples.
• Checks on Contractor/ subcontractor's activities, including punch lists to ensure their works comply with project specification and standards.
• Provides detailed and critical technical support as required.
• Initiates Field Observation Report or Non-Conformance Report (structural and architectural) and verification of corrective actions.
• Compiles and registers the QC documents or records for filing, handing over, and archiving system upon completion of the project.
• Assists the QAQC Manager in reviewing Method Statement, Inspection and Test Plan, Inspection Checklists and QA/QC Records / Forms to ensure they meet the specified project requirements and standards.
• Assists and support the Project Team in resolving any related quality issues / problems initiated by Consultant and/ or Client at site.
• Prepares report on site QC inspection activities and submit to QA/QC Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering/ architecture.
• Professional license an advantage but not required.
• Preferably 1-3 years experienced employee specializing in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in architectural works of hotel and casino.
• Willing to be assigned in Metro Manila and/or provincial projects.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Able to communicate with management and Client confidently and professionally.
