Drake’s top client – financial services is looking for a Credit Officer to be part of their collaborative team in BGC, Taguig.
Core Functions:
The Corporate Credit Officer is responsible for the review, financial analysis, and evaluation of verified information for all corporate applications to arrive at a decision within the corresponding lending and deviation authority while optimizing business potentials within the acceptable credit risk to achieve business targets and goals while ensuring portfolio quality is maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct an initial assessment of the corporate borrower and its major shareholders/directors and lay out the necessary and further clarification.
- Together with the Account Officer, conducts interview and ocular inspection with the client to determine the risk profile of the borrower and to validate the business operations.
- Checks the Loandex, NFIS, and other third-party applicable credit bureaus.
- Conduct trade checking with borrowers' customers and suppliers.
- Analysis and validation of the submitted bank statements.
- Prepares financial spreadsheet based on the audited financial statements to determine the capacity of the borrower to pay.
- Prepares in-depth credit proposals after gathering all the necessary information which include but not limited to:
o Company background.
o Financial analysis (Ratios, AFS entry movement – favorable and not favorable).
o Summary of the trade and bank checking, field visit conducted.
o Recommendation on the loan package.
- Prepares 3-year financial projection only when necessary.
- Presents the Credit Proposal to the Excom depending on the credit limit endorsed.
- Conducts loan reviews, line renewals, and new line availment when necessary.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any other related field.
- At least 1 year experience in Credit Evaluation and Financial analysis of corporate loans.
- At least 2 years’ experience in Medical Equipment procurement.
- Fresh graduates with a background in Finance/Accounting are welcome to apply.
- Well-versed in English and Filipino.
- Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig City.
Salary:
30,000 to 60,000 PHP/month
