Job Description
Human Resource Department Head contributes to organizational effectiveness by providing strategic direction and leadership in the areas of talent acquisition, training, organization development, maintenance of a competitive compensation and benefits package, performance management, labor relations/employee relations and payroll.
Duties and Responsibilities
TALENT ACQUISITION
- Manages recruitment activities for the group of companies to ensure that competent applicants are hired and retained.
- Manages sourcing activities by looking for alternative sources of applicants.
- Screens candidates to ensure that only qualified candidates are hired.
- Conducts manpower planning and budgeting of expenses such as job advertisements and job fair.
- Manages orientation and job orientation of functional heads for new hires.
- Recommends prospective candidates from the pool of interviewed and shortlisted candidates.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
- Analyzes training needs (TNA) from performance appraisal summary, feedback and documented coaching and mentoring sessions.
- Develops of training budgets and management of approved Training and Development programs as recommended by Department Heads.
- Evaluates Training programs and recommends improvements.
- Updates Employee’s Handbook and ensures Code of Conduct is being enforced.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Develops and implements Performance Management System (PMS) aligned with the overall goals of the company and develops other tools to measure employee efficiency.
- Monitors submission of performance appraisals of all operating units and ensures timely summarization as basis for performance review and annual merit increase.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION/PAYROLL
- Develops and administers structured and competitive pay plan, in consultation with the President and Executive Vice President.
- Conducts periodic salary reviews and updates salary structure from time to time.
- Assesses and recommends benefit programs to Management according to employee needs and trends.
- Ensures employee issues and complaints on payroll are immediately resolved.
LABOR RELATIONS
- Ensures a healthy and safety workplace in compliance with Health and Safety practices of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and BOSH/OSHC Training certification.
- Represents the company and attends SENA/DOLE mandatory hearings whenever necessary.
- Conducts performance counseling and discipline for Supervisory and Managerial employees and ensures that appropriate disciplinary action is issued to involved employees.
ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT
- Spearheads the implementation of company events and activities to promote culture of fun and enjoyment.
- Spearheads documentation of changes in the Table of Organization and development of Job Descriptions Manual.
OTHER DUTIES
- Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Psychology, Behavioral Science, Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Management or any related course. with Masters degree in Psychology or Management.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience handling all facets of human capital department and Strong leadership skills

Pay: Php65,000.00 - Php75,000.00 per month
