Job Description - HR Specialist - Career developmemt

Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)

The role involves implementing performance management systems, identifying training needs, coordinating learning programs, and facilitating career pathing for employees. Key responsibilities include establishing performance goals, designing and delivering training, providing career coaching, and collaborating with stakeholders to support employee development. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in HRIS and a commitment to continuous learning.

Main Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Implement performance management systems to effectively evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify training and development needs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Coordinate the design, development, and delivery of learning programs to address identified needs and enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to establish career paths for employees based on their skills, interests, and organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees in identifying career goals and developing action plans to achieve them.
  • Conduct career development workshops, seminars, and individual coaching sessions to empower employees to take ownership of their career growth.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in career development, training, and performance management to continuously improve HR processes and programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of career development initiatives and make recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on career development, performance management, and training.
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles and practices, with experience in implementing performance management systems.
  • Knowledge of career development theories and techniques, including career pathing, succession planning, and individual career coaching.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Google Workspace Applications, Canva, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
