Job Description - HR Specialist/Assistant

Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)

1. Education: A Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.

2. Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in various facets of HR, including Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Employee Relations/Labor Relations, HR Compliance, and other relevant areas.

3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.

4. Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels. Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

5. MS Tools Proficiency: Proficient in using MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other HR-related software.

6. Knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws: In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices to ensure compliance and foster a fair and compliant work environment.

7. Compensation & Benefits Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of compensation and benefits principles and practices, including designing and administering competitive packages.

8. HR Compliance: Proven ability to ensure HR compliance with laws, policies, and regulations to minimize legal risks for the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent. Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates. Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies.

2. Compensation & Benefits: Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with the organization's goals and industry benchmarks. Monitor market trends and make recommendations to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining employees.

3. Learning & Development: Create and manage comprehensive learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Identify training needs, conduct training sessions, and promote a culture of continuous learning within the organization.

4. Employee Relations/Labor Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing and resolving workplace issues promptly and professionally. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a harmonious work environment and comply with labor laws and regulations.

5. HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, company policies, and regulations. Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and adapt HR practices accordingly.

6. MS Tools and Systems: Utilize MS Tools and other relevant HR software to streamline HR processes, maintain accurate employee records, and generate insightful reports for management.

7. Knowledge of HR Best Practices: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of HR best practices and utilize this knowledge to enhance the overall effectiveness of HR operations.

8. Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Verify timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant data to calculate employee wages and deductions.

9. Assisting in Executive Bookings: Provide support in booking travel arrangements, accommodations, and other logistics for executive-level personnel as needed, ensuring smooth and hassle-free travel experiences.

10. Assisting Executive Assistant: Collaborate with the executive assistant in handling assigned tasks, such as preparing documents, scheduling meetings, organizing events, and managing communication on behalf of executives.

11. Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance and support in complex HR matters and facilitate team development.

12. Onsite Work and Immediate Availability: Work onsite from Monday to Friday and be available to start the role as soon as possible.
