Purpose of the Role : A Human Resources (HR) Business Partner in IGT Manila plays a critical role in aligning HR strategies and practices with the overall business objectives of the organization. This position involves a partnership with various departments to drive HR initiatives that support the company's growth and success. The successful candidate will report and work closely with the HR Manager.
Key Roles and Responsibilities : The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic HR advisor and partner to our organization, working closely with business units to develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals. The HRBP ensures that HR initiatives are effective in supporting our Manila, Alabang operations while staying compliant with local labour laws and regulations. Talent Management and Induction
Support recruitment and on boarding processes.
Responsible for monthly induction sessions with staff. Employee Relations
Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing HR-related inquiries, concerns, and disputes.
Mediate and resolve employee relations issues in compliance with Manila labor laws. Performance Management
Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement and career development. Labour Law Compliance
Stay current on Manila labour laws and regulations, ensuring that HR practices and policies are compliant.
Advise management on legal requirements and implication
Employee Engagement
Promote a positive work culture and high employee engagement through various HR programs and initiatives.
Conduct employee surveys and feedback sessions to assess and improve workplace satisfaction. Compensation and Benefits
Address compensation-related inquiries and issues.
HR Metrics and Reporting
Generate HR reports and metrics for management to support decision-making.
Analyze HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. An HR-related postgraduate degree is a plus.
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role.( 2- 3 years)
Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
