Job Description - Human Resources Officer

A. Recruitment and Selection:

  1. Meet with Human Resources to have a full-scale understanding of hiring needs and available positions within the company
  2. Prepare job ads and source qualified candidates
  3. Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality, and salary requirements and administer exams for assessment.
  4. Coordinate hiring activities to concerned departments like schedule of interviews and status of hiring
  5. Check the complete submission of pre-employment requirements
  6. Performs other tasks assigned by the Recruitment Manager Creates Job Offers and Probationary Contracts Serves Job Offers and Endorsements
B. Employee Relations, Engagement, and Performance Management:
  1. Handle employee relations concerns to ensure everyone is performing their job properly
  2. Addressing employee problems on the job to ensure everyone is thriving in the workplace and satisfied with their job and work environment
  3. In charge with employee’s grievances and executing steps according to the company’s standard
  4. Conduct investigations, initiate admin hearings and closely coordinate with department heads, and advise on the process for employee coaching and corrective actions.
  5. Issuance of memorandums and notices to employees for violations/infractions incurred in the course of their duties.
  6. Enforcement of the Code of Conduct, company policies and programs, and constant updating of the same.
  7. Monitors departmental performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency
C. Compensation and Benefits:
  1. Assume responsibility for timely payment of required government monthly premiums
  2. Close coordination with the Payroll Officer to handle benefit compensation and reimbursement procedures
  3. Safekeep and maintain updated employee records with all relevant information (marital status, years of service, hours worked etc.)
  4. Inform employees of their benefits and plans and monitor usage or availment
  5. Collaborate with the Payroll Officer for all crucial payments and deductions
  6. Prepare all government reportorial requirements, maintain and update all necessary reports for easy reference
  7. Coordinate with the Payroll Officer for any and all matters pertaining to payroll processing, eg. checking daily time records, leave forms filed, etc.
  8. Other related compensation & benefits tasks as may be assigned
Other HR-related tasks:
  1. Answers queries regarding HR-related issues
  2. Leaves monitoring
  3. Create 201 files
  4. Performs clerical functions and HR administration
  5. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
