Responsible for recruitment and placement of employees, coordination oftraining and employee’s benefits and other personnel matters.
Responsibilities
1.Handles the hiring activities on manpower requirement including posting of job ads, upon instruction from the President/CEO.
2.Conducts initial screening resumes.
3.Maintains all official and confidential personnel files/documents /records, memos, etc. (e.g. 201 files, working status, assignments, transfers, promotions, leaves, disciplinary actions, attendance, staff rates, payroll, and other related documents and records).
4.Provides necessary and proper assistance to employees on all matters relating to personnel (e.g. individual leaves, SSS benefits, Phil-health benefits, employment certifications / authorization, Company I.D., hospitalization and medical benefits, etc.).
5.Prepares and submits necessary documents to Department of Labor and Employment concerning personnel matters.
6.Sources out and coordinates with testing center on psychological testing of applicants.
7.Monitors and checks preparation of payroll as regards to employee’s rates and proper deductions.
8.Keeps up to date on government rules and regulations that might affect employee’s compensation packages. Makes appropriate and timely recommendations to President / CEO.
9.Processes, monitors and updates employee’s vacation leaves, sick leaves, maternity leaves, emergency leaves, etc.
10.Coordinates special company functions and activities (conferences, seminars, training program, Christmas party, etc.) which are held from time to time.
11.Recommends employee training programs / seminars to President.
12.Suggests proper venues for employee’s trainings and meetings conducted outside company premises.
13.Oversees the Company’s employee benefit plans. Ensures compliance with any government regulations.
14.Handles correspondences which includes employees’ insurance forms and claims and fielding basic questions about employees’ benefits, health plans, and retirement plans as well as sourcing insurance / health companies which provides better plans and benefits in accordance with Company budges.
15.Reports directly the President / CEO, and coordinates closely with all department heads on any matter pertaining to personnel.
16.Any other duty that may be assigned by the Management.
