About the role

Join our Manila team at Orica as a Payroll Officer , where you'll play a crucial role in providing support for payroll processes, ensuring precision and compliance with both Orica standards and legislative regulations.

What you will be doing

• Administers offline payroll data and processes
• Provides advise on employee leave management and compliance
• Manages Service Now (ticketing system) queries related to Payroll
• Conducts payroll General Ledger (GL) reconciliations
• Executes payroll input and management of external service providers
• Executes year-end processing and reporting
• Provides legislative advice to payments
• Provides regular AdHoc reporting
• Supports projects relevant projects
• Manages stakeholders and provides analysis of legislation and advise on compliance

What you will bring

• At least 3 years of experience in Payroll function
• Strong understanding of HR and payroll policies, process, enterprise agreements and legislation relevant to applicable country or region
• Fundamental payroll knowledge applicable to the country or region being administered
• Tech-savvy on country or region-specific payroll system
• Strong MS Excel, numerical and analytical skills
• Comfortable in managing payroll for multiple countries
• Highly organized in prioritizing the complex tasks in tight deadlines
• Good command of the English language both written and verbal
