Senior IT

• Ensure the security of our systems complies with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001) and industry best practices.
• Ensure our systems can support continuous remote operations and monitoring of pilot sites.
• Perform routine support and upgrades of internal resources critical to daily engineering and R&D operations.
• General IT support for the company to allow other employees to work faster and more efficiently
• Be the central contact and help point for company IT issues, including Microsoft administration, networking and on-site servers.
• Maintain and support internal resources
• Maxwell, JupyterHub, other Linux servers, VPNs
• SolidWorks, PDM
• Laptop/workstation setup, shared internal Microsoft resources (Cloud, Teams, Outlook, Zoom rooms, etc.)
• Shared lab workstations, industrial automation networks, experimentcontrol
• Implement maintain, and improve a robust and secure industrial automation network allowing remote control, monitoring, and updating of deployment sites around the country, including Azure cloud services and on-site networks.
• Set up networking and computing infrastructure at our new site in Woodinville.
• Implement and support new security measures for above resources to protect and ensure access to valuable IP.
• Bring the company to ISO 27001 Cybersecurity compliance as required by our utility partners.
• Regularly audit company security setups and practices for compliance.

Requirements Skills and Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field
• 5+ years experience in information technology administration and security
• Experience in Windows system administration for businesses
• Experience with Linux system administration
• Experience setting up and maintaining secure enterprise networks across multiple sites
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment
• Experience providing technical support remotely in a previous role

Preferred:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar
• Experience with industrial control systems
• Experience with database administration
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Solidworks PDM or similar engineering product data storage platform
• Experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 requirements
• Experience implementing intellectual property security measures on internal information systems
• Cisco CCST, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE or similar industry certifications
• Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
• Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
• Must be able to work on a shifting schedule
