Senior Data Quality Analyst

Job Summary:

Our respected client is seeking a Senior Analyst who will be part of an offshore research and analytics team working for a global investment banking client. The team provides evidence-based research and analytics to client equity analysts to inform investment debates.

As a Senior Data Quality Analyst – Mandarin, you will interact with clients and team members to understand project objectives and existing data architecture, take full ownership of data of assigned projects, use technical skills to automate data quality checks, conduct further data investigation as needed, and coach and guide junior analysts. The job is in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines, offering a hybrid working arrangement and flexible schedule.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the solution design and development process of assigned projects, which includes coordinating across all functional teams, assisting the developer team, and working with the data engineer to create necessary QC steps for project automation.
• Take ownership of data of assigned projects and update and deliver error-free analysis files on a pre-agreed frequency or ongoing basis.
• Communicate with clients regarding data-related or project-related matters.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the functional team, including creating automated data quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including information security and confidentiality provisions of the client.
• Serve as back-up to the QA Team Lead and may serve as back-up for other QA members’ projects if needed.
• Participate in all required trainings and sessions and perform any ad hoc tasks advised by the manager.
• Create and ensure QA documents of handled projects are up to date.
• Identify and raise data-related issues or anomalies on assigned projects to other functional teams or the client, and provide recommendations on possible solutions.
• Conduct deep dive data investigation and triangulation.
• Perform data quality checks and validation on new and existing projects to ensure data/projects are error-free and delivered on a pre-agreed frequency or ongoing basis.

Key Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field, preferably Statistics.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in data management or data quality control.
• Good English and Mandarin communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Comfortable dealing with and analyzing large datasets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with multi-cultural and multi-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic Python knowledge.
• Flexible to shift changes as needed, with a mid-shift schedule.

Salary Budget: PHP 90,000.00 - PHP 100,000.00 per monthNote: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further assessment.
