POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic global R&D team. As a Senior Software Engineer at Aprimo, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing the software architecture of our marketing automation and digital asset management software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, UX designers, Security Engineers, and DevOps Engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust software that meets the evolving needs of our clients.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Your main responsibility is to develop software (new, adapt and extend) to make sure our products meet the business and functional requirements.
  • Hereby, take ownership, and leadership from design, over implementation to testing, focused on automated testing, make sure the solutions align with the technology vision, strategy, and architecture, to be involved to adapt if needed.
  • Adapt the necessary periphery around the product to allow R&D and non-R&D teams to deploy the code and infrastructure, to monitor the system health and usage, and troubleshoot.
  • Be involved in the sustainability process by resolving bugs in production.
  • Perform in constructive team environments helping colleagues and co-creation.
  • Provide and evaluate estimates for development efforts, considering factors such as complexity and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to resolve technical issues within or between teams, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient project delivery.
  • Review and provide feedback on the designs and technical specifications ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficient processes. And conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code delivery.
  • Drive improvements and initiatives to enhance system performance and maintainability. Proactively identifying areas of improvement and working with development teams to prioritize and address them.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into Aprimo's technical strategy. Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies, frameworks, and tools for solution development.
  • Demonstrate strong soft skills, including effective communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to align people and keep them motivated towards shared goals.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & WHY YOU'RE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE:

  • The Essentials
  • Bachelor's or master's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Engineering is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with C# .NET is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with JavaScript is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of knowledge and experience with SQL Server or other RDBMS is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of knowledge and experience with ASP.NET/Web API/Entity Framework is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with HTML5/CSS is required
  • More than 3 years of knowledge and experience object-oriented design skills
  • Additional Successful Qualities
  • Experience with Angular/ReactJS
  • Understanding of modern software development principles
  • Understanding of basic testing and troubleshooting principles
  • A desire to learn, grow and work with a team in an agile environment.
